Course overview

Course description
This course provides an introduction to sewing and textiles, offering students hands-on experience in learning different sewing techniques and garment construction. Participants will gain an understanding of fabric types, tools, and machine operation, moving from basic to skilled sewing techniques. The course will emphasise creativity, precision, and problem-solving while creating various textile projects such as Asian dressmaking. By the end of the course, students will have the confidence to create custom clothing and understand the fundamentals of textile design.
