Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.

Course description
This course will assist learners to learn new BSL vocabulary in a fun and interactive approach to learning. Using a festive song learners will engage in learning the lyrics to the song, followed by the BSL signs included and featured in the song. The course will help learners to develop an understanding of the fundamental differences between BSL as a language and Sign Supported English. This course will help learners to see the benefits of SSE for learners that speak English as a first language but have become deaf or hearing impaired. This course may also be useful for friends and family members to become more inclusive when celebrating Christmas through song.
